I was tasked with designing a poster and three social media posts for an event. I chose The Portland Rose Festival because I wanted to include a flower in my design. I chose a light and fun color scheme to help the poster look inviting. I illustrated the rose with gaps to give a simple and unique look to the design. I decided to include The Portland skyline to make it specific to that city. For the social media posts, I used different aspects of the poster to make it cohesive. I also illustrated a bridge because Portland is known for its bridges.
